I would much rather have people send messages with ... or just as one big block, than have them separate each sentence into it's own text like some people do.

I'm not sure where you looked into it but it seems that you don't understand it. It's used to indicate either a pause if used in the middle of a sentance or trailing off of used at the end.

I thought this was an older person explaining the use of ellipses in text to younger generations.

I have always wondered what the ellipses were about!

There are some weird, judgy comments on this video. 🤔
She's not saying it's an issue of whether or not people still use this form of punctuation; it's that older people seem to overuse it in casual messages and on social media, and younger people don't know what the heck is going on.
They'll type something like this:
"Hi all... does anybody know?... Where to find bread maker recipes?... Cuz I used to have a recipe for a honey bread... and now I'm wondering if I can make it in my new bread maker?... Thanks for any help..."
I personally don't see how this would save them any writing space, since they're actually taking up space with all those extra dots. 🤷‍

Why judge - just be happy someone wants to talk to or visit with you. Why would someone texting you annoy you? That's pretty arrogant and narcissistic in itself.

Aggression. The 1st assumption is aggression!?
Why? & what about context?

It has been a commonly used punctuation in written English for hundreds of years. Why does it bother anyone? If you don’t like it, don’t use it.

I don't like the bombarding message types, it's really annoying. As though it's something really urgent, when in fact it's nothing at all... Younger ppl have a really stalker way of communicating. I wouldn't be happy about receiving ten short messages in a row... It would be the equivalent of writing ten separate posts here, just to write this paragraph. It would be a desperate cry for attention...
