Steps to make rich ,creamy delicious and perfect Rose flavoured yoghurt or Shrikhand

1+1/4 cup.Hung Yoghurt
(1.5 cups storebought full fat Greek yoghurt and 1/2 cup regular full fat storebought yoghurt. If ure using regular full fat yoghurt and not Greek yoghurt use 2.5 cups)

1.5-2 Tbspn Rose syrup
1.5-2 Tbspn powdered sugar
1Tbspn blanched peeled chopped Pistachios
1 Tbspn blanched peeled chopped almonds
1 tbspn roasted chopped Pistachio
1/4 tspn cardamom powder
1/8 Tspn nutmeg powder
1-2 Tbspn dry rose petals

Hung yoghurt: place strainer on a bowl . Place muslincloth or cheese cloth on it. pour yoghurt tie the cloth .keep weight on it and store in refrigerator overnight. your creamy rich hung yoghurt ready.
Add sugar and Rose syrup to it .Pass it thro sieve . to this mixture add blanched chopped Pistachios ,almonds,nutmeg powder and cardamom powder.
chill it in refrigerator for minimum 2 hrs and maximum 5 hours.
Once it is nice and chilled garnish with roasted chopped Pistachio, dried Rose petals and sprig of mint leaf.
Yummy Rose Shrikhand is ready. serve it hot puris or enjoy as dessert.

Tip : Do not skip the step to sieve the hung yoghurt . this will give u extra ctmreamy and smooth texture.
Before serving minimum chilling of 2 hours is must.
For blanching boil water and add pistachios and almonds . let them boil for 2-3 minutes. peel and chop it
