My DIL fed my granddaughter all kinds of sugar as a baby. Now that she's 4, she has eating problems and has to go to a special "feeding team" to learn how to eat normal food without all the added sugars. She has also had to have many tooth extractions. This is going to be a lifelong struggle for her.

It's also an horrific waste of money. Making your own baby food takes very little time and effort, folks. I've had six kids - buying stuff like this makes NO sense, nutritionally OR financially.

How much sugar did she put on that plate?
5 grams of sugar in a level teaspoon, 7 grams of sugar in a heaped teaspoon. If only 8 grams were added, it's basically 1 heaped teaspoon of sugar. And there's 14 grams in total - that's 2 heaped teaspoon of sugar.
There's 20 grams of sugar in a level tablespoon and 25 grams in a heaped one. That's amount of sugar on that plate looks more than even that...
