The thing I always observed in people who go to church, or say they believe in god are the very first to deny him or blame him for something that went wrong. They also blame him or question why things happen the way do if he has the power to stop it. It bothers me, b/c they should know the answer. There are things that must come to pass so we can see the damage we have done as the human species without God in our lives. Take the story of Job, of Noah, of Adam and Eve and so on. You don't have to hear him to know b/c you can feel him. That feeling calm my heart when I was grieving and my heart was so heavy it felt like it would break and kill me. You just know when he is there. Your spirit can feel it even when you are not aware by sight, sound, smell or touch.
