I was diagnosed with Dyslexia in fourth grade. I couldn't read. I went to special classes on Saturday. My mom took me, my dad called it stupid school. I spent some much time in the public library after that that they ran out of books i had not read. I never went to college but published 12 History books and now own 4 companies that employ 300 people.

I am a huge auditory learner and somewhat visual. Not photographic but you just have to show me once and I got it. I can recall song lyrics like crazy and I donāt even know where I keep them all in my brain, same thing with watching documentaries. I wasnāt diagnosed with Autism till I was 30, I also have ADHD diagnosed at 12. I like being alone and Iām not big on physical touch. I prefer sitting together but kinda doing your own thing. I wish I would have known sooner so I could have tapped into what Iām good at. Iām just finally using those talents in my job, I love training and operations. I have been a recruiter in corporate America for 13 years now and it took me forever to figure out how to ask for assignments that play to my strengths and now I actually enjoy my job. š Temple you are a huge inspiration. Thank you for all you do

This is awesome. I have a daughter on the spectrum. She taught herself how to read at 3 & she can sing beautifully, even though she's somewhat non-verbal. I signed her up for a program, but they're telling me there's no funding til 2025. We need to help these children & adults to thrive. God bless Dr. Grandin š

I was privileged to attend a seminar given by
Dr. Grandin, a couple/three decades ago. It encouraged me to be tested for learning disabilities as an adult. Bingo. ADHD!
I worked with a Therapist to understand MY LEARNING STYLE. It proved to be very beneficial. I'm recently retired and I'm not sure I would have made it without the direction. I was oftentimes frustrated learning new skills previously and oftentimes ready to quit different jobs š¢
