Just plan all your turns when the players are taking over 5 min to do basically nothing

I love this from a DM's side of speeding up combat. I've DM'd for 40+ years so this way of DMing comes pretty naturally (that is I tend to do this as just my default way of DMing), but I love how cleanly you explained it and suggested it as part of prep.
From a player's side, for my upcoming campaign I'm going to test out the idea of "Move, Action, Bonus Action. Pick two." (Enemies, in general, rarely have bonus actions so as DM I kind of do this already, but I think players will benefit by not over-thinking their turns.)
