In the Army Now is a comedy film starring Pauly Shore and Andy Dick. It follows two slackers, Bones Conway (Shore) and Jack Kaufman (Dick), who join the U.S. Army Reserves to earn extra money and avoid serious commitment. They believe they'll avoid combat by training as water purification specialists, but they end up being deployed to North Africa during a conflict. The duo, initially unprepared and out of their element, must learn to survive and prove themselves as unlikely heroes while navigating military life and the battlefield.
