I have Worked in a call center and I wish you could do this. Call center reps do hang up though if you give an attitude. Be good to the person taking care of you, no one wants to deal with a toxic customer so your issue can become a last priority on everyone’s list. Just be nice and respectful and big issues can be solved in minutes.

As a manager myself I would fire Veronica if she ever caught an attitude like that with a paying customer. The customer plays her bills, puts food on the table for her family. She needs to grow a thicker skin to do that job. Sorry, the soup line is always open though.
