No comments yet on this one huh? My shop started this almost 2 years ago now, and I have the personality to really enjoy doing them so it's fine by me. But there are definitely techs in my shop who should not, nay can not, do a video.
We pay an internal 0.1 for each video mpi, which should be fair if the target video time is under 2 mins anyway.
I have dozens of survey results specifically praising my videos because I show and explain the failures in my diagnoses.
We saw a small-ish bump in sales moving from multimedia mpi to video mpi, nowhere near as big as moving from handwritten form with notes to digital with pictures (we used X-Time which was fine) but for me personally I've seen a bump in CSI from the videos.

100% donāt recommend for a good machine to do this. If my machine does hourly yell at some car party I donāt trust his skill.
