In Australia, we use "Arnott's Choc Ripple" biscuits to make Chocolate Ripple cake - the recipe is on the pack! If you make it the day before, the biscuits really do become cake-like!

I remember these, but not paying ridiculous money for them. I have a great vanilla wafer recipe that I can adapt.
One of my favorite ways to eat them was to make a sandwich out of them with peanut butter. Big glass of ice cold milk and I was a happy camper.

Homemade is always better (especially with an ATK recipe) but a fast and acceptable substitute for the Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafers is Dewey's Brownie Crisp Cookies.

Are they actually selling for nearly $100, or just being offered for sale at nearly $100? Because if people are really paying that much for something that is at a minimum nearly a year old now, then we really have gone over the edge.
