Blergh! So gross, sorry you had to deal with that! Now it's all clean again, my tip is to rinse the filter super regularly - I do mine every wash or every other. Seems like hassle but actually less of a pain in the butt than waiting until it is gross. Saves effort in the long run. Also, white vinegar as a rinse aid is cheap, more effective and keeps the machine cleaner. And doesn't make the dishes smell of vinegar!

The crying is hilarious, why? If you rinse your dishes first then you won't have that problem. Putting the dishes with food all over them....... It has to go somewhere.

Also the amount of house I would stage for selling omfg you would be surprised thee amount of disgusting people who wash toilet brushes in their 🤢 my advice get them professionally cleaned if there’s one built in or buy a brand new one peace of mind and all that

They sell this stuff at Lowe’s that you can run through your dishwasher that’s supposed to clean it out. They also make stuff for washing machines and sink disposals. Obviously they’re all different. But Lowe’s and target. Sells it all.
