Have you ever heard of sprinkling lime on them before storage. My stepdad did. I was just wondering if this helps.

Been trying to tell my hubby every year to wait two weeks for curing..BUT he never does it. Usually covers them up outside under burlap on a tarp in the shade gets a little bit of sun but that's how he cures them drives me crazy.
