It is said that faith without works is dead, but the disciples could not work out the demon from the man's child without faith. So works without faith is, likewise, dead. It's a hard thing to balance when you haven't even begun to understand. Which do I do first? Should I just pray and wait? Should I remain in the bible? What do I do with my time in the meantime? No clue. No clue at all. But I don't stop praising the Lord. He is so amazing and anything that I can say is an understatement of him. He is beyond perfect. Awesome beyond comprehension. The only one who is truly worthy of praise.

Jesus loves you so much that He gave His life for you on the cross. He desires a personal relationship with you and wants you to accept Him as your Lord and Savior before His return. To be saved, follow these steps:
1. Resist sin and do not give in to its temptations.
2. Pray to Jesus and get to know Him better, believing in His resurrection.
3. Trust in Him and follow God's will for your life.
Sin, such as gluttony, uncontrolled anger, lust, breaking God's commandments, sexual immorality, greed, lying, and complaining, separates us from God. The Ten Commandments, as found in Exodus 20:1-17, emphasize the seriousness of sin by setting forth God's laws, including prohibitions against idolatry, murder, theft, and lying, underscoring the holiness required by God. Good deeds alone cannot save us; salvation comes through God's grace, received by faith in Jesus.
To receive God's forgiveness and grace:
1. Confess your sins to God and recognize your need for Him.
2. Repent of your sins, turning away from them.
3. Embrace God's plan of redemption through Jesus.
4. Declare Jesus as your Lord and Savior, submitting to His authority.
5. Trust in Jesus and His finished work on the cross.
6. Obey God's commands and live according to His word.
7. Forsake sin and strive for holiness.
8. Embrace God's love and grace, sharing it with others.
Key Bible verses supporting these teachings include:
- Romans 10:9-10, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
- Ephesians 2:8-9, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."
- John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
- 1 John 4:14, "And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world."
Furthermore, 1 Corinthians 6:9-20 warns against sins such as sexual immorality, idolatry, and others that defile our bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit. This passage reinforces the call to holiness and the seriousness of sin.
Remember, gaining the whole world is meaningless if it leads to forfeiting your soul (Mark 8:36). Accept Jesus' love and sacrifice, and through Him, find salvation.
