What would you suggest for me? I have a software development degree, hundreds of submitted applications later I’ve come to conclusion that this isn’t career choice anymore.
Should I hook up arduinos and raspberry pi’s to solve real world problems? How would I monetize that? I feel like I’m screwed.

Don’t even think about it. Way too much competition. Get a good union job instead. Every idiot in India is a networking guru. If you do stay in software creativity is where it’s at. Even TI is flooded with H-1Bs from India. Waste of time.
