Mr Brand was one of my heroes as I was growing up.
The older I get, the more respect I have for men like him, Mr. Bronson, and Mr. Garner. There are more. Just keep reading and watching stories like this one.
Mr. Stewart is another great one too.

So many actors we grew up watching served in the military. WWII, Korea, Vietnam. That episode was really powerful, but so many Twilight Zone episodes were impactful. RIP Neville Brand!

I remember him. He was a good actor. I didn't know he was in WW2.

Rod Sterling, a combat vet too, in the Philippines in World War II, understood exactly what Brandt was feeling.

Beautiful story. Veterans helping veterans. Thanks as always, Nick.

It's amazing to me the caliber of human beings so many of yesterdays actors were. I grew up watching these people never knowing how many were veterans, with amazing stories.

No matter what you might think, everyone has his own stories, his own problems. Kindness and appreciation goes a long way, and is always worthwhile! RIP Rod, RIP Neville πŸ‘πŸ‡Ί

These men shaped a generation, not only with their acting, but with their strength of character and courage. We need men like them once again, men willing to stand up for what's right.
