You need a tune, not a crankcase filter. Your air intake “upgrade” allowed your engine to suck in air more easily which is great, because it has set fuel ratios so it compensates for that with adequate fuel, so nothing really changes except for the sound you hear. A tune makes use of your aftermarket air intake and allows more COLD air in, because cold air is more dense, it mixes more fuel at the stoichiometric ratio more efficiently.
