As someone with like 3 of these push/pull telephotos on my shelf, and since everyone else seems to agree, these are more common than you think lol. One of them I have is parfocal which is cool.

Even aside from vintage lenses, the original Canon 100-400 (which was insanely popular) and the 28-300 both had this, so I think it's safe to say we've all seen this. Great video anyway!

100-400L is technically a 4th where it is pump action but all inside the barrel. Loved using it in the past.
