It's NOT so SIMPLE For Your CLIENT
The other day we were talking about withholding the JUDGMENT that we can have as coaches... looking at a client's life and thinking, "Any idiot knows what to do there. It's so simple." When it's actually quite DIFFICULT for your client.
I've got a client that I've been working with for several years now who really struggles with a certain aspect of his business. And it seems so straightforward, that all he needs to do is expand that part of his business, and he needs to have a conversation with his business partner to do that.
But he never did. And so I asked him, "WHY aren't you having that conversation?"
And he said, "Well, this person is part of my family, and I really care about them, and I don't want to hurt their feelings."
That's what made it complicated.
So I had to work with him on how to iron out and communicate in such a way where he could actually succeed in his business, and also have a great relationship with this member of his family.
Make sense?
It's not always simple for your client, even if it looks simple for you.
