If you refuse to let the school search whatever it is, they could go out and then suspend you for not complying (that's what my highschool law teacher told me anyways)

I watch a similar incident like this once. The boy got judge based on his appearance by the police. The police forcefully took his backpack & were going to search. Luckily there's someone passing by remind the cop to ask permission first & letting the boy know that he has the right to not give the permission. The boy realized it fast and said "i don't give you consent to search my bag".

In high school, I questioned why two officers needed to search me, but they claimed I had no constitutional rights on school grounds. They forcibly handcuffed me, sent me to juvie, and later mocked me while I was restrained in the principal's office. The experience was humiliating and surreal.
