Anchor bolts should always be cast into the foundation, it's infinitely stronger and a better Construction.

Should have had the nut at the end of the threads so when you hammered the bolt in it wouldn't screw up the threads

Wood should be treated against moisture. The screws hole in the lining will let moisture go through . Why not use asphalt role instead!
