Amen, the point of prophetic knowledge is to bring people to God not knowledge of the next job, relationship, or sence of security. God says to trust him in those things. That is a wait and see statement, man shall not live on beard alone. The perfect idea is he says trust me to do my work that I'd for you, don't nag me or harass me. But prophetic knowledge ends in a persons personal grown in faith( trust) in God and sometimes coming to faith in him.

At this men’s group I went to..about 3 of the guys there were really into prophecy over people and they were definitely trying to guide and “predict” someone’s life while also condemning divination in literally the same prayer. Is this cognitive dissonance? I believe it to be!

I NEVER SEEN A TRUE PROPHET. How can they themselves even know what spirit they operate in ? Prophecy causes a whole of issues. I would rather stay away from it.
