Here is a fun low prep Montessori Inspired activity!

Toddlers can start matching at around 18 months.

Matching activities help toddlers:
✅ Develop problem solving skills
✅ Practice color recognition
✅ Improve memory

Here is how we do it:
1. Find colorful socks around the home. Start simple 2 pairs in the beginning and add more as toddlers learn how to do it.
2. Arrange one of them on a flat surface.
3. Place the matching socks in a basket
4. Have fun matching! ❤️🙌🏼
5. Once your child find this easy, you can put all the socks in just one pile and let them match the socks alone.
6. You’ll have the best laundry folding partner! ❤️💕
