I just don't see why we don't consider nuclear power as a reliable clean source of energy. It's one of the best alternatives out there.

Not sure if this is what you were going for, but...
"You were expecting a regular hurricane, but it was me, mega hurricane!"

Soon insurance companies will say the natural disasters are made by humans therefore aren't covered in the insurance

as someone who lives in a hurricane area i don't think wind turbines and solar panels will stay working after a storm. the amount of damage they can do is terrifying i dont think they can hold up to the winds and the panels can get ruined by debris. like im all down for renewables but theres reasons our buildings are short here.

I still think molten salt reactors are the better long-term solution. Nuclear works without needing favorable conditions, but having solar in more places is a good start

How well do solar panels survive hurricanes?
Why aren't you promoting nuclear power?
As for the number of 280 km/hr hurricanes, how is going from 4 in 50 years to 11 in 50 years a 10 fold increase? My guess is they are counting all those recorded around the world, even though records are spotty for most of the world over 50 years ago.

I love this and have always been a fan of what I call easy energy 😌

Mega-Hurricane: "Oh? You’re approaching me? Instead of running away, you’re coming right to me? Even though your grandmother, Lucy, told you the secret of The World, like an exam student scrambling to finish the problems on an exam until the last moments before the chime?"

Humanity: "I can’t fix the shit out of you without getting closer."

Mega-Hurricane: "Oh ho! Then come as close as you like."

Do we really expect solar panels to stay on roofs and wind turbines to stay up right after a mEGa hurricane ?

Who said that "localized renewable energy" has a lesser carbon footprint? It happens during devices production

As a Florida resident, any hurricane below a cat three is just a rainy long weekend. So do me a favor, sign the thing so I can have lots of small hurricanes to cancel school for a week, instead of big hurricanes that cancel the power for a week.

Germany is a shining example of how this works, but with wind power. On windy days they overload the grid, and when it's not so windy, we import brown coal power from Poland, because that's somehow saving the environment. We also have the highest electricity costs in the world. Is that the future you want?

Step 1: build coal power plant
Step 2: increase climate change
Step 3: big hurricanes with fast winds
Step 4: build wind farm to profit off said wind
Step 5: Profit

I thought nuclear energy is more "green" than solar. Though it wouldn't be installed on individual homes.
