I know French Knots can be daunting for a lot of people - they can be tricky to get right. But like many things, once you've cracked it, you'll wonder why you found it difficult in the first place!! Here's a little guide to stitching the perfect French Knot. It'a all about keeping the thread tight as you go. Remember, you can create French Knots of different sizes by using more or fewer strands of embroidery thread. If you want a VERY small French Knot, you can do it by winding the thread around the needle only once.

I hope this gives you the confidence to give French Knots a go - they are a great textural stitch to have in your repertoire!
