A little tip, if you use those cutters as you did you snap the ring, flip it around, and use them like you did to bend the ring big enough to pull off, it makes it a ton easier If you use the took to crunch just the pex itself down a couple quick times after you pull the ring off. If you do that, that piece of pex just falls right off like the ring and it's nice.

Never re use a pex fitting.

i actually just grab the blow torch on the crimp fittings and just burn the pex. ring falls off
