I, and I'm sure I speak for most Saffas regardless of race, have lost my self-esteem and hope for employment because I was told I had no skills, was not qualified enough, overqualified. Degree after degree, I am still not qualified enough. Destroyed from within by our own fellow black hiring managers π’π’π’.
How did foreigners get their skills? Because their countries gave them opportunities to build skills internally. The only way for us to gain scarce and general skills is for our country, SA, to give us opportunities to build those skills instead of shelving us.
