Ingredients:
Salt: 1 tsp
Turmeric: 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder: 2 tsp
Green Chilli: 4
Red Chilli: 2
Mustard Seeds(Rai): 1 tsp
Urad Dal: 1 tsp
curry leaves
Soaked Chana Dal: 100 gms
Jeera: 1 tsp
Chana Dal: 1 tsp
Gongura leaves
Freshy chopped coriander
Method:
Heat the pan and add 2 tbspn Oil, mustard seeds, 2 red chillies, and jeera. Heat briefly.
Add 3-4 cloves of garlic, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves, 4 green chillies, and 2 medium-sized onions. Cook until onions turn golden brown.
Sprinkle salt over the ingredients and cover. Cook until onions are golden brown.
Add 100 grams soaked chana dal, turmeric, salt, and red chilli powder. Stir well.
Pour 100 ml water and simmer for a few minutes.
Mix in gongura paste and cook thoroughly.
Finally, garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with ghee rice or chapati.
