I love to hear you talk about cactus and ages of limestone. You wax poetic.... But I like how you you speak all the time, and how you describe plants and how you can tell what even the smallest of plants are, and how they persist in the environment, and do their best, and really are quite awe-inspiring and splendid.

The ventifacts look to be covered with desert varnish. It's a very thin mineral coating. This is not as developed as it sometimes is, but I think it is the reason for the reddish/purplish color.

I knew a guy who took a tent out to northern Nevada and lived there for the summer. Brought uv lights with him. He found Scorpions and opals using the u light. Love your videos. Great content. Oh ya. Get a good Uv light… stay safe

I was watching some of your videos from new zealand and australia and i don’t understand why you didn’t go to Indonesia aswell when you were in the area. Are you just not interested in Tropical Jungle? The diversity is so insane you would have a field day out there.

Looks like home around there. Have you considered checking out around the Muddy Mountains of Nevada?

Nice cacti.
We don’t seem to have any cacti native to Australia, yet we have the climate, and a variety of poor soils.
