Do you keep the humidity dome on 24/7? Cause whenever I try to do that my plants will rot :(

I do either in water or perlite. It depends if I’ll eventually put it in soil or keep in water. I ran out of perlite so I used coco coir for my heart leaf philo & that’s working wonderfully also.
