As a hungarian i can say that this battle is the perfect example to what will happen when the leaders of an army not making a team and they are incompetent and dont know the art of strategy. If the king and the leader of the army Pál Tomori (by the way who wasnt a soldier just a priest) would wait for the reinforcement and make a defensive strategy the hungarian army would have win this battle and the history probably wouldnt be the same.

I remember that battle from the school. I think that the king back there had about 15k men (lords and other told him to disbanded the army promising they would join him but surprise surprise they didnt) while ottomans had 60k and cannons. The king drowned while fleeing.
