This is why some christians have rationalized that Jesus must have exited space and time, and suffered for an eternity in the "eternal now" that is God's supposed experience, so that (in some mysterious way) Jesus has always been, is *now*, and will always be, suffering in the eternal death-space of the Father's wrath.

Jesus was only one of a long list of gods/demigods who rose from the dead. It was a common trope for gods/demigods to have miraculous births, perform miracles and resurrect. Any god worth worshipping did some or all of those things. And you’re right, if he didn’t stay dead it wasn’t really a sacrifice.
