The Flosser - Tinnitus Sound Therapy 8000 Hz is worth a try.
Noise masking is the introduction of a new sound to the mind that is different from the tinnitus sound, however similar in frequency range. Research indicates it may lower the tinnitus sound in the mind by one third when it is a close match to the frequency range (+/- 10%).
This newly introduced sound is listened to at a lower level than the "T" sound. There is no need to make it louder to cover up the sound which seems counter-intuitive, but it satisfies the mind.
Tinnitus and it's causes vary and not all types are comforted with noise masking. It is worth a try to see if it offers relief.
