Just can’t justify spending $700 when my regular PS5 works so well already. Especially if I have to buy a disc drive separately because half of my games are discs.

As a Gamer who wants to enjoy the highest fidelity, the purchase for me was worth the upgrade. I am looking forward to the next years, where the Pro will benefit even more when Developer consider it during the development of new games.
Regarding the price, I will sell my OG Disc PS5.

Honestly, my eyes don't really see the difference in resolution, but financially I feel the difference in price. I was lucky, that I had a coupon at the German Otto, and I bought a PS5 lim Disc with a rebate of €344 already included. Now possibly for a little more than €100 I can buy an additional 1Tb SSD and get a 2Tb version. Two joysticks were included, I just bought the charger for the joysticks and the metal round stand. Will I switch to some more advanced versions, I think not with this price difference, I think I made the best buy!

I only bought it so I could sell my regular ps5 for a good price while it’s still worth a lot of money. Then when the ps6 comes out hopefully people will want to buy my pro because it’s newer even though it’s not much better than the original.
