Cattle raised on dense, diverse pasture produce meat with much richer phytonutrient profiles. But how?

A big part of it is the increase in microbial activity in the soil - allowing for symbiotic relationships with thriving plants and microbes building healthy soils that feed everyone.

For more on how the health of soils impacts forage and our food, be sure to search for researchers out of Utah State Fred Prozenva and Stefan Van Vliet!

That’s why plants wrap roots around rocks. It is giving the microbes areas to do the exchange.

Finally, this might turn around the poor health of this country. At least, it's a start.

Aren’t plant cell walls made of carbon? Like doesn’t the tree need most of that carbon to grow?

Microbes poo feeds mycelium and they pull minerals from middle Earth like a sponge. His drill analogy is less Zen than reality. ❤❤🎉

Sry, i like you guys, and support your mission, so i don't want to neg your claim, but i don't think that's how "growth" works : /

Animals don't just sequester and store "nutrients" (not even sure what that word would mean in this context, as each species has its own requirements for growth, and that would define what it considers "nutrients"), they eat too grow.

Therefore any 2 animals, which have the same general size and health, contain the same "nutrient". Not importantly, were not consuming the ENTIRE cow, we're taking a chunk of its muscle, which is molecularly identical [i.e. even IF 2 cos was "healthier" AND that resulted in it storing more "nutrients", there's no reason to assume they're stored in the meat of its hip, or flank... it MAY be in an organ, lor bone marrow, or somewhere along digestive system]...

Simply put, there's no reason to assume eating smthn "healthier" make you healthier.
... and there's also no reason to assume the cows "health" is expressed in anything but the rate it grows.
