My therapist told me that everyone is jealous/envious. That thought alone helped me. Didn't feel like I was such an ass for feeling so. Plus,I realised that it's really hard for oneself to not compare themselves to others when you're always confronted with it. So I try to avoid being constantly confronted with it. The feeling is still there, and honestly it ruins my day when it's a hard confrontation and never quite leaves me in day-to-day life. But it became a bit better.

As someone who has had a very jealous partner, being constantly hyper jealous, if based out of fear of being undesirable ends up making you into being undesirable. It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy.

BRILLIANT HELPFUL VIDEO 👏 It's also good to reflect on the object of what you covet- Let your jealousy be your informant that you are motivated to get the thing you're desiring, and instead of focusing on the other person, pull the focus inward and use your motivation to figure out what you can do- to drive you to that goal. My friends have it better than me, lighter workload, experiencing life in exciting places. I have a friend who is jealous of another friends “position” in our friend group, essentially he feels, especially since he’s been in the group longer, that it’s just his personality that doesn’t fit with us. A fight has started to break out and now i don’t know what to do cause I don’t want either of them to leave over something like this.
