Even though I'm white, I can still fully appreciate how awesome she is and what she represents. Even i would love to see more characters like her. You don't have to relate to a character to get why they're important or cool or anything, and I think Storm is both exactly what you're saying and even more.
A lot of X-Men is definitely meant to be race allegories and oppression, but as a queer person I also see some examples that work for that community too. Additionally, as a woman, I admire Storm in those ways too, more than even other female characters in the franchise.

I didn’t wanna say it, although I did🤪, because they swear many of us be pushing a narrative when the truth is obvious. Storm is this character and her character is us no other Mutant and their situation really matters to many of us because non can really relate. Any one can be discriminated against for any reason but can’t just anyone fall victim to racism. Even in the comics Storm has been discriminated against by humans for being a mutant and a target of racism by her fellow mutants for being Black. By the Phoenix, the Thais Twins and Sinister and a few other slick comments from and jokes from characters, writers and readers. I say strictly Black ppl because those other races never had to fight oppression, fight for rights and equality nor freedom…they only had to sit back and receive the greater opportunities and benefits off the tears, sweat, wounds, blood and death of Blacks. No other mutant had to lose as shamefully as Storm has, had to crawl for as long as Storm has nor had to fight as hard as Storm has and still be as humble and compassionate towards those who hate her as Storm has. Having to break down “LifeDeath" pt2 and it meaning and message to my white friends was unbelievable but like one of em said "they never had to experience it so they missed it completely. Now they have a better understanding and this short helps because they honestly think I be manipulating their perception and perspective all the time…and I do..sometimes 😂

LMAO, smdh dude ur on point and the commenters thinking its not that serious or associated with those points must have not watched the original series. The episode writers in the 90s literally said they took inspiration from the Civil Rights movement and how Magneto and Professor X are allegories for Malcom X and MLK Jr. and the treatment of mutants reflected how Gay people were being treated in society. So, Beau Demayo a gay black man who grew up on the show imbues those sentiments into the show and you want to be blind to it, lol yall would be FoH haha
