Yugoslavia wasn't Serbia, yugoslavias succesor was Croatia because when Croatia declared independence from yugoslavia then it already broke into 3 countries: Slovenia,Croatia and Serbia but all of the land that was once Yugoslav was taken by Serbia and it copied the name, army and flag of the real Yugoslavia. For Russia it was itself. For Kazakhstan it was Russia because the Soviet Union lasted another few days after Russia left the Union and Kazakhstan was the last to remain before renaming to Kazakhstan.
