I did parasailing in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, 35 years ago. I started on the beach didn’t have to run. These guys knew what they were doing. I lifted off the ground. I went up 500 feet when I came back down the boat came to the beach as close as it could. I floated slowly down to the beach and landed softly.
I also did it in Maui off of a platform in the middle of the ocean. I was the only one to land back on the platform. They wanted everybody to do that. Out of eight people, I was the only one that landed on the platform.
I’m 64 years old. I just got home from Costa Rica. I’ve done zip lining in Mau over the years. Zip lining in Maui is for kids compared to Costa Rica. Their zip lines are long and fast and high above the jungle. Not gonna lie I had a lot of anxiety doing that first zip line realizing how long it was. They had eight different zip lines. All of them were long and fast. It’s official I have completely retired from zip lining.
