Yeah, I'll have a walking stick all the rest of my life just in case. I'll get anxiety attacks that I can't feel if that makes any sense. I feel normal enough, not upset or anything, but too much sensory input can take me down to the ground. For example a powwow: sitting in a packed crowd + lots of people talking + loud drums being played + plus singing + plus industrial lighting + swirling dancers = I can't walk. I called the doctor nuts when he told me that a years worth of medical testing showed that the only thing left was anxiety. "You are saying it's all in my head? Your brain can't do that to your body!" Apparently it can. I don't need it so much now. I've got bluetooth active noise blocking ear buds. I've got blue blocker glasses if I'll be in industrial lighting (and for cloudy days). Tactile stimulation toys in my pocket. I'm trying some compression clothing at the moment. The only thing people might notice are the glasses and the cane. I could care less if they do. It helps me. I'm using them for me not for them. Do what you got to do.
Good to see you back.
