Yeah adding the control surfaces are going to mess you up scaling the wave
Ships to small to balance out how strong the lift is from the control surface. You can modd the file to add a second of each control surface and lower the strenght of the values to use them on boats. I've got about 5 sets of every block with different weight buoyancy and what not. Same with engines. And turbos and well just about the whole game I've re written on certain parts for my better enjoyment. There's also a good mod group that's made a modd installer so you can make a full package instead of editing and copying each file for each part you can do full sets at a time and keep from losing what you have. And every update will wipe the files clean so keep what's molded on a back up file for easy re install
