In this post, we are going to see about the famous temple of Kanipakkam Varasidhi Vinayaka. Kanipakkam Vinayagar Temple is located in the town of Kanipakkam in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.

This is one of the largest Ganesha temples in our country. Vara Siddhi Vinayagar, who is the source of this temple, appeared as Swayambu Murthy from a well. The well water is always flowing around this Ganesha. He does not have any big decorations like the children of Namur. Long trunk, wide ears and small eyes are not always there. He is as self-sufficient as he appeared in the well.

Prasad of the Ganesha temple of Kanipakam Varasithi – A spoonful of water! It is also a well water! There is a crowd to get that one Uttarani water. It is believed that if we drink this well water, our needs will be fulfilled. It is believed by the devotees that by drinking this, the disability will be cured and all the diseases will be cured.

Ganesha likes truthful people and disabled people. It is said that he has an insatiable desire to solve all their problems. Because this Ganesha first appeared to three crippled brothers.

It is said that this Ganesha appeared in the land, hence the name Kanipakkam Ganesha.

The well where Ganesha appeared as Swayambu of this Thalat is still here. Even today he is seen on top of the same well. Not only that The well water is always flowing around this Ganesha. The water taken from this well is offered as prasad to the devotees even today.

Another highlight of this temple is that Kanipakkam Ganesha is growing day by day. There are two other temples near this temple. One is Manikandeswarar Temple.
Another one is Varadaraja Swamy Temple. It is said that this is the temple that King Jaya came to in a dream and asked Perumal to build it.

There is a belief that a snake from the Manikandeswarar temple goes to worship Lord Ganesha every day.

பிரசித்தி பெற்ற காணிபாக்கம் வரசித்தி விநாயகரின் ஆலயம் குறித்து தான் இப்பதிவில் நாம் காணவிருக்கிறோம். காணிப்பாக்கம் விநாயகர் கோயில் ஆந்திர மாநிலம் சித்தூர் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள
காணிப்பாக்கம் என்ற ஊரில் அமைந்துள்ளது .

நமது தேசத்தின் மிகப்பெரிய விநாயகர் ஆலயங்களில் இதுவும் ஒன்று. இந்த ஆலயத்தில் மூலவராக இருக்கும் வர சித்தி விநாயகர், ஒரு கிணற்றிலிருந்து சுயம்பு மூர்த்தியாக தோன்றியவர். இந்த விநாயகரைச் சுற்றி கிணற்று நீர் எப்போதும் ஊறிக்கொண்டேயிருக்கிறது.
நம்மூர் பிள்ளையார்களை போல இவருக்கு பெரியதாக அலங்காரம் எதுவும் கிடையாது. நீளமான தும்பிக்கை, விசாலமான காதுகள், சிறிய கண்கள் என்றெல்லாமும் கிடையாது. கிணற்றில் எப்படி சுயம்புவாகத் தோன்றினாரோ, அப்படியேதான் இருக்கிறார்.

அதுவும் ஒரு கிணற்று நீர்!

அந்த ஒரு உத்தரணி தண்ணீரைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளத்தான் அங்கே கூட்டம் அலை மோதுகிறது. இந்த கிணற்று நீரை நாம் அருந்தினால் நாம் வேண்டியது நிறைவேறும் என்பது ஐதீகம். இதனைப் பருகினால் ஊனம் தீரும் என்றும் நோய்கள் எல்லாம் நீங்கும் என்பதும் பக்தர்களின் நம்பிக்கை.

உண்மை பேசுபவர்களையும், ஊனமுற்றவர்களையும் இந்த விநாயகருக்கு மிகவும் பிடிக்கும். அவர்களின் குறைகளையெல்லாம் தீர்த்து வைப்பதில் இவருக்கு தீராத இஷ்டம் என்று கூறப்படுகிறது. ஏனென்றால் இந்த விநாயகர் முதலில் காட்சி தந்ததே ஊனமுற்ற மூன்று சகோதரர்களுக்குத்தான்.

காணி நிலத்தில் இந்த விநாயகர் தோன்றியதால், காணிப்பாக்கம் விநாயகர் என்ற பெயர் ஏற்பட்டதாக கூறப்படுகிறது.

இத்தலத்து விநாயகர் சுயம்புவாக தோன்றிய கிணறு இப்போதும் இங்குள்ளது. இன்றும் அதே கிணற்றின் மேல்தான் இவர் காட்சி தருகிறார். அதுமட்டுமல்ல
இந்த விநாயகரைச் சுற்றி கிணற்று நீர் எப்போதும் ஊறிக் கொண்டேயிருக்கிறது. இக்கிணற்றில் இருந்து எடுக்கப்படும் தண்ணீர்தான் இன்றைக்கும் பக்தர்களுக்கு பிரசாதமாக வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

இந்த ஆலயத்தின் மற்றொரு சிறப்பாக, காணிபாக்கம் விநாயகர் நாளுக்கு நாள் வளர்ந்து கொண்டு வருகிறாராம்.

இக்கோவிலுக்கு அருகில் வேறு இரண்டு கோயில்களும் உள்ளன. ஒன்று, மணிகண்டேஸ்வரர் ஆலயம்.
மற்றொன்று வரதராஜ சுவாமி ஆலயம். ஜனமே ஜய அரசன் கனவில் வந்து, பெருமாளே கட்டச் சொன்ன கோயிலாக இது கூறப்படுகிறது.

மணிகண்டேஸ்வரர் ஆலயத்திலிருந்து ஒரு பாம்பு, தினமும் காணிப்பாக்கம் விநாயகரை வணங்கிச் செல்வதாக ஒரு நம்பிக்கை உள்ளது.
