Btw the r32 GTR is the ONLY Godzilla. No other gtr is considered Godzilla. The r32 is something special. The r34 is more money because fast and furious hype.

This is so true, but I'm not sure it's for reason most people think, even for more knowledgeable car enthusiasts. In the US it's not so much about which Skyline you have, it's the fact you have a Skyline. R32, R33, R34, doesn't really matter. The impressive thing is that you had to wait for it to be imported, paid all that money for an ok sports car that's mostly about the hype, and dealt with all of the hassle that comes with importing and driving a Japanese, RHD car. The version only matters to you and to other Skyline fanboys.

I had the same experience when I had my C7 Corvette. The average person doesn't know the difference between a base Stingray, Z51, Grand Sport and Z06. They can tell the higher model side by side but a base Stingray still got looks and thumbs up.

My mate wrote off his R32 GT-ST on my 21st doing a burnout almost 15 years ago. Back then you could buy one for 4-5K NZD. I send him trade me listings of the ones for offer now. He's pissed lol.
