Been there. Had sciatica and bulging disc for 3-4 years and couldn't even lift my foot without really sharp pain. I had to re-train myself to tilt my hips forward and keeping my back in a neutral position alleviating any pressure on the disc. After doing this EVERY TIME I BEND OVER for a few weeks I've been pain free for about 3-4 months now. NO SURGERY.

As someone who indeed has mild hyperlordosis, I have to concentrate so hard on proper form for anything back related and lifting. Thankfully, because of this, I currently experience very little back pain. Also, people use a leg pillow at night and get some good toe spacers

Flexion rows and neck training fixed all my little nagging issues for now. Age will continue to test all of us in compromised positions so may as well build muscle and strength in those positions while you still can.

I like a lot of things in this video, but keep in mind: contracting the glutes and the abs will take out the lordosis in the lumbar spine.

If you want to confirm that look up the actions of the glute and the rectus abd.

The glutes extend the pelvis (increases lumbar kyphosis from the base of sacrum up) and the rectus abd flexes the lumbar spine.

Still in favor of the tips he gave, but they will actually stack the low back not accentuate it
