Duo 1
The first Duo strikes HARD. Duo 1 is USED to violence. This is most likely the Duo that takes your family and is most likely the embodiment of Vanish in Spanish or Vanish. Until now, theyβve been HIDING his existence in a plot of cover-up schemes.
Duo 2
The second Duo strikes SOFTER, almost caressing the face. Duo 2 is NOT USED to violence. This is most likely the Duo that is paraded around and marketed. This is the Duo that the Duolingo company WANTS us to believe is the one and ONLY Duo. This is most likely the embodiment of the language app itself.
The Lore
Duolingo as an app and a physical entity are two separate beings with two entirely separate minds. One is a simple app whilst the other is an anomaly MADE by Duolingo. Duo 1 is the physical entity, being able to interact with everything OUTSIDE of the app (widgets, notifs, actual world etc.). Duo 2 is the actual app, only being able to interact with everything INSIDE of it. Although, Duo 2 MAY be the one controlling this channel, as most of the videos seem to be about him UNLESS Duo 1 is actually behind it all, trying to cover up his existence in order to lure in more victims. Why are they doing this, you ask? Duo 1 is a physical entity. Every animation you see is Duo 2, everything else is Duo 1. Duo 1 CAN however, be an animation too, as seen in this video. He can go between the virtual realm and the real one. Why would they go out of their way to go this? Well unless Duo 2 is used, he may as well be proclaimed DEAD. This is why if you donβt use the app, Duo 1 hunts you down. Where do they take the failed students? The app. All of the characters in the app are REAL PEOPLE who have been out into the app by Duo 1 in order to make the experience more addicting and keep victims lured in, keeping Duo 2 alive.
