I'm an Indian, i bloat whenever i eat certain foods and hing (asephodieta) is one of them. I know people tell it to add because it aids digestion but not for me. It actually causes bloating for me. I love the flavor and aroma it gives to the Indian dishes though.

Ohhh yess. I use it in my cooking everyday. It is extensively used in Indian cooking. Its flavors come out better if used in a tadka instead of just adding raw like this.
