Wildlife is more important than a photograph

In photography, if you donβt understand your subject (wildlife, sport, dance, landscape, fashion) then you wonβt get the best out of any camera and lens, no matter how expensive. If you go out on a safari with an experienced guide, they can tell that there is wildlife nearby, from spoor, prints, the way grass or leaves have been chewed., or event the way other birds or animals are behaving. They are masters of their craft.
