The Christian Bible includes Isaiah. Isaiah is SO important to the New Testament and is quoted in much detail. Because I believe in Isaiah, I am happy to find Isaiah 2:4 in my Bible which I see as prophetic concerning the Messiah. I am also glad to have Isaiah 53 there, a passage avoided by many, because it speaks of the sacrificial death and resurrection of the Messiah, whom we Christians believe is Yeshua, Jesus.

Well people, God had promised Israel He would make a New Covenant with them. Not like the Covenant He made through Moses; that they did not keep, even though God was a husband to them. This is why we all were gifted with the New Testament!!!! Because the Mediator of the New Covenant had died on the cross to put it into effect by means of His own blood. A will does not go into effect until the testator dies. So God sent His own Son Jesus/ Yeshua (means salvation) down from Heaven, born miraculously of the virgin (young maiden); God was born in human flesh. Is there anything too difficult for the LORD?????? Even I, a simple Gentile old woman believe God's testimony!!!! Adam sinned. God killed an animal to cover his body. Teaching Adam and Eve that sin was serious, and without the shedding of innocent blood, there would be no forgiveness of sins UNTIL THE PROMISED "SEED" OF ABRAHAM would come. That SEED IS THE LORD GOD JESUS CHRIST; God's Anointed Son, Who will have an Everlasting Kingdom. But first, before His Kingdom would come, He had to be God's sinless perfect Lamb; Who would be pierced through for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities, the chastizement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes, we are healed!!!! His stripes are His blood that was poured out for you on the cross to take away your sins guilt and shame. As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; so that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. Jesus is the Mediator of the promised New Covenant. He has already brought His people back to Israel as a nation. But His Kingdom will not go into effect until the time of Jacob's troubles is over. Daniel 9:26 tells us Messiah the Prince will be cut off. That happened at His crucifixion!!! Daniel 9:27 says Satan will confirm a covenant with many for 1 week. 1 week of years= 7 years= Jacob's troubles. Then, the very end of this age will END. WARNING!!! ANYONE WHO RECEIVES THE MARK OF THE BEAST(Satan) on their right hand or forehead to buy or sell will be condemned to helll forever!!!! Sobering...Please believe God, repent of your sins and unbelief, and pray directly to Lord Jesus to save you today. He can declare you righteous, justified, not guilty of sins in His Highest Court in Heaven!! He can cloth you with His own righteousness. All by God's amazing grace through faith in Jesus sacrifice for your sins full payment. Not of any works of your own, not even by the works of the Law. What The Law could not do, God did, sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh so that the righteous requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who walk not according to the flesh, but by the Holy Spirit. what of it? I am a complete Bible believer. I have quoted Isaiah 2:3-4 many times. Almighty God will not have multiple groups of people - not the "church" and the "jews". One people, and they will be called Israel.

What are you talkin about rabbi tovia? There's an entire Christian hymn based on that verse! "I'm going to lay down my sword and shield, Down by the Riverside Down by the Riverside, down by the riverside, I'm going to lay down my sword and shield, Down by the Riverside ain't going to study war no more!"
