Of course Sinatra did that. Other than describing “Something” by The Beatles as the greatest love song of the 20th century, he hated ALL rock musicians and called rock an ugly and degenerate genre.

I'm not surprised to hear that Jim Morrison's greatest vocal influence was Frank Sinatra. I've always considered Morrison to sing like an untrained crooner. He had a smooth, wonderful voice, but rough around the edges, which works well for rock, of course. Sinatra and the bands who backed him were great, but I never listened a whole lot to that style of music, although I certainly appreciate it. Too bad Sinatra didn't share an appreciation for rock music.

I'm not surprised Sinatra would react that way. He was an old school bigot in line with the child abuser Bing Crosby. I know first hand because my father was one of them although poorer and more cowardly!

One of rocks greatest voices¿ 😮. I don't know about that. Hey I love the Doors, but I would not agree with that statement
