😢 I had a bit of a reality check after Helene when my mom’s house was totaled and she had to move out abruptly, and we only had to deal with limbs all over our yard. Then with Milton coming, I saw people saying “if I have a home to come back to” when talking about evacuating. Praying for everyone affected 🙏

My aunt lives in nc. She was 4 houses away from the flood due to elevation and she is so extremely grateful, she has been baking bread for all her neighbors that don’t have power, water, and access to food. She opens her house to those who need it❤
