You are young - young woman. Take it from an elder. It doesn’t matter what you do or don’t do, if another human wants another( person or experience)all that you describe goes out the door. You could be swinging from chandeliers. if something else (person) catches another person’s interest they are gone - might not be permanent- sneak cheat. I used to think like you until I was confronted with evidence of cheating. Devastating. People will do what they want to do. Lots of times it’s for selfish reasons and opportunity. Doesn’t matter how much you listen, speak softly do what ever. If someone wants to leave or cheat they will do it. It’s not as deep as you are thinking. Lots of times you are the last to know what’s going on because you are giving your best. The lying , low down , dishonest cheater is in your face pretending everything is ok. Be careful with these generalized ideas young lady. Everyone do not have integrity or good character. Hope your don’t run into one of those who will take all of your sweetness and understanding and still back door you. 😂. That’s the reality. This is what turns some women into absolute bitches - this the reality . Be careful young sister don’t be a pick me. You could be the flavor now. No guarantee you will continue to be especially if you are dealing with someone who is fickle
